Utah Man Killed Friday In Donley County Accident
76-year-old David Donald Beineke of Saint George, Utah was killed Friday afternoon in a one-vehicle accident on US 287 in Donley County. Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2003 Ford F-150 driven by Beineke was traveling northwest on US 287 when the driver failed to drive in a single lane. The F-150 left the roadway, entered the center median, and rolled over multiple times. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle as a result. Mr. Beineke was being transported to UMC in Lubbock by a medical helicopter when he died in transit due to the injuries sustained in the crash. The Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol is investigation.
