Randall County Commissioners Will Meet Tuesday
The Randall County Commissioners will meet Tuesday at 9am in the Courtroom at 501 16th Street In Canyon. They will discuss the appointment of a Randall County Road Superintendent, the Tax Assessor’s 2026 appraised value, taxable value and collection rate, a resolution authorizing the County to nominate Owens Coring for designation as a qualified business under the Texas Enterprise Zone Program, discuss the IRS guidelines on maximum contributions and carry limits for the Randall County Health Flexible Spending Accounts and a change to the High-Deductible Health Plan. Commissioners will discuss an easement to land owned by Lake Tanglewood for the purpose of placing a service tower, a joint-use agreement with the Zayo Group for Optic Lines, a bond renewal for the Road and Bridge Superintendent, a donation to the Texas A&M Forrest Service, a plan summary with MaxorPlus Ltd and the setting of salaries, expenses or allowance of elected county or precinct officials for 2026/2027. There will also be a time for public comments.
