Man Charged With Credit Card Abuse Of The Elderly
A Randall County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office in April to take a report regarding a case of credit or debit card abuse. The report was completed, and the information was forwarded to the Randall County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. During the investigation, Sheriff’s gathered information from the victim and determined that approximately $7,500 in unauthorized charges had been made using the victim’s card.
Throughout the investigation, Deputies identified Kenneth Putman as the individual responsible for the unauthorized transactions.
According to Sgt Hillary Garcia with the Randall County S.O., the case was presented to the Randall County District Attorney’s Office, where the charge was accepted, and an arrest warrant was issued for Putman. On July 9, 2026, Putman was arrested for Credit or Debit Card Abuse of the Elderly, a third-degree felony.
