18-Year-Old In Custody For Running Over Teenage Girl
18-year-old Cool Pennon is now facing charges after he was accused of running over a girl at a party last weekend. Amarillo Police were called to the area of Amarillo Boulevard and North Grant around 2 a.m. Saturday.
At what some described as an underage house party, witnesses told police they saw someone – later determined to be Pennon – run over a teenage girl, causing her to be pinned beneath his car for more than 20 minutes.
Pennon later admitted he was the one driving the car at the time, He was arrested for intoxication assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury and booked into the Potter County Detention Center.
The victim suffered a broken femur.
