Farwell Man Killed In Parmer County Accident
23-year-old Christian Alberto Cano of Farwell was killed in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday morning on Farm-to-Market Road 145 in Parmer County. Preliminary investigation revealed that around 5:49am a 2015 Volvo Semi-Truck driven by 63-year-old Hector Guerrero Villava of Clovis was traveling westbound on FM 145 while a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Mr. Cano was traveling eastbound. The Dodge Ram veered into the westbound lane and struck the semi-truck . After the initial impact, the Dodge Ram rolled over and caught fire. Villava was transported to Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis with minor injuries. According to Sgt Cindy Barkley with the DPS, Mr. Cano was pronounced deceased on the scene from the injuries sustained during the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol
